Trillium in Bloom

Posted by admin

The annual Trillium in Bloom is an important event for the school and community, bringing us together to acknowledge our accomplishments, thank our volunteers, and kickstart fundraising for the next year’s special projects. As a charter school, our public funding is limited. We need the support of families for their students. There are many ways that you may contribute to the school, including ways that offer something in return. Events like Trillium in Bloom are worth their weight in priceless memories.

This year, it will be especially fun, because we’ve got a theme! ADULT PROM. Did you ever wish you could step back into your senior year of high school and attend prom just one more time? Well, now is your chance. Our night will include dinner, DJ dancing, silent auction, raffles, prom pictures, and a cash bar. The event is 21+ but onsite childcare will be available for $15/child. Tickets are $20/person and may be purchased at the door, or reserved in advance through email hidden; JavaScript is required.

RSVP “Yes” or “Interested” to the Facebook event, to receive sneak peeks of the food, entertainment, and auction items. Sign up to volunteer to receive discounted tickets! Volunteers are needed to set up, clean up, and to manage tickets sales and the auction. Email email hidden; JavaScript is required if you or someone you know can fulfill these roles.

We are currently accepting any vendor with family-friendly goods or services to display, on a first come, first serve basis. However, please note that we are particularly interested in featuring youth and other underrepresented vendors. This is your opportunity to take your secret recipe or craft instructable to the next level. Inquire to: Kay Kennett, email hidden; JavaScript is required, or jump right in, by completing the Vendor Registration Form.

Support local businesses year-round!

Visit the Community Business Directory to see the full range of local businesses that we endorse for your holiday shopping! If you are a Trillium student or family member, we will list your business here, whether you are participating in the Holiday Bazaar or not. Please follow the instructions listed on the CBD page (linked above).

Bring Cash or In-Kind Donations.

Shoppers are invited to bring a toy, food, clothing or supplies donation for homeless families. This drive is coordinated by our 2nd and 3rd grade students! Sales of soy candles by Portland Assembly Piedmont NAC also benefit this cause. And, of course, Trillium welcomes any cash or in-kind donation. Trillium Holiday Bazaar is both a community event and a fundraiser, the culmination of our Twelve Days of Trillium giving campaign.
